Engine Five was around the corner clearing from a medical when this box went out. Upon their arrival heavy fire was venting from the rear second floor of a two and a half wood frame. Firefighters rescued a woman with the help of a SNET workman who was in the neighborhood from the third floor window. The fire extended into the walls and into the third floor and number four side exposure before being brought under control. All hands consisting of three engines, two trucks and the rescue operated at this fire.
